Twill Weave Stainless Steel Wire Mesh

Superior Strength for Fine Filtration (Up to 635 Mesh).

Performance

Strength Meets Precision

2:2 Twill Structure

Each shute wire passes over and under two warp wires. This reduces the bending stress on the wire, allowing the use of heavier wires than plain weave for the same mesh count.

Ultra-Fine Filtration

Designed for high-precision needs. Our Twill Weave series reaches up to 635 Mesh (20 Microns), making it ideal for critical chemical and aerospace filtration.

Enhanced Durability

Because heavier wires are used, Twill Weave cloth is thicker and stronger. It offers better resistance to mechanical load and fatigue compared to fine plain weave.

Surface Characteristics

The surface has a distinctive diagonal pattern. While slightly less stable than plain weave, it provides a smoother surface for filter cake removal.

FAQ

A: Twill weave allows us to use thicker wires for the same mesh count. This makes the cloth stronger and more durable than plain weave when filtering very fine particles (200 mesh and above).

A: Yes, fine twill mesh (like 400 mesh) is soft like silk fabric and can be cut with high-quality household shears. However, for mass production, we recommend laser cutting to seal the edges and prevent fraying.

A: For fine mesh, it’s hard to count with the naked eye. We recommend using a standard mesh counter (thread counter) or a microscope. We provide a full inspection report with photos for every shipment.
